Ann Griffin, a Physical Education consultant for the Grant Wood Area Education Agency, tries out a device which would enable a person who cannot throw, to shoot a basket, throw a football, serve a volleyball, toss a Frisbee, pitch a softball or engage in other similar activities. It was designed and built under RCRV Assistive Technology program by Earl Tharp, right, retired Rockwell Collins model shop machinist.
Caution: This catapult can be potentially very dangerous and must be used under proper supervision.
RCRV designer is Sue Young, and was requested by GWAEA. The project was begun Jun 22, 2001 and completed Jun 22, 2001.
