I have a commercially available (used to be anyway) device that spans a basketball rim and allows a variety of balls to be quickly, securely, and safely suspended. Anyone up for trying to knock this off? I could provide a "prototype".
The ball suspender is made up of a 21 inch wooden support with supporting groves cut at an 18 inch diameter. The ball is supported by a 1/4 inch poly rope and 1/2 PVC tube. The assembly is locked in place with two magnets. Ten ball suspenders have been completed and delivered to Ann Griffin.
RCRV designer is Mike Beccario, and was requested by GWAEA Ann Griffin. The project was begun Apr 1, 2004 and completed Apr 1, 2004.
